Don't you think he'll be pissed if we go back to res-" he stopped mid-sentence knowing that what he was saying wasn't accurate. If thhey went back and actually managed to get him out of there he'd be relieved and happy. "If we go back, and get caught." He tried rewording it, but still he knew it would be easier to keep going in that place with a friend.
Kipp looked down the pathway they were following. They had almost made it to the end. The forest wasn't very far from where they were, and it would be a lot easier to travel in there than the cliff had been.
"Let's get to the trees first. Then we can figure out what we're doing." He said, it would likely be easier to climb back up in the woods, with plants to grab on to. And it would get them out of the rain. Which, though not particularly heavy, was starting to soak through his clothes.
