(I might be able to but at the moment my phone is only just over being 30%)(aaaahhhh! ok.)
(Lol that’s kind of what I felt while typing it)(Ashira and Kipp sound like parents XD)
Elon sat with his back against a rock wall, arms curled around his legs, head on his knees. Not interested in her party tricks.Seina tilted her head to the side. Completely unable to comprehend what he was saying, she gave him a friendly smile and moved under the overhang, finding a semi-dry spot to sit and pulling a piece of bread from her pocket for herself.
She hadn't expected to be in charge of so many kids all at once, and she wondered if this was what it would be like to have kids. They all seemed really easy to take care of. Not begging for food, or sleep or the bathroom even, like she was told she did when she was little. Maybe they were exceptionally good kids. Or maybe they had really strict parents who wouldn't let them act like that. She didn't know, but she wanted her own kid to be just like them. What would she do with her own kid in this situation? Out in a rainstorm, scared of the bad guys coming and taking them away. Most of them couldn't understand what she said to them. What could she do to make them feel better?
Seina looked over at Torin, and Alex they seemed pretty young still. What could she do to help them be less afraid? A small smile turned up the corners of her mouth.
"Hey, what was that?" She asked in mock surprise, pointing up at the sky. Creating a little red light that spiraled and looped around in the air, making it disappear with an electrical zap, and then reappear somewhere else.
“Check your pack,” said Korim, patting the pack on her back. “There should be some water in there.” He opened his own and sipped water from a leather flask.“Okay” Aria whispered closing her eyes “do you have any water?” She asked
She closed the small piece of glass in her palm, holding it close. “Thank you,” she said quietly. “I’ll always remember this.” Then she turned to leave. Ashira knew she was thinking the same thing as Kipp: Neither of them expected her to return. But it’ll be worth it. If I can free Take, that girl, and as many others as I can, and somehow give them a way home, then at least I used my last moments to help people. He looked down at the rounded piece of glass, not sure himself what it was for other than being pretty. He'd heard that there used to be a game called marbles, but had never played it.
"Hope?"
A reason to keep going, when there aren't any other reasons left. He wanted to promise to wait for her. That they would meet her and Take down at the river. But he didn't expect her to be coming back, and couldn't put the kids in danger waiting for something that would never happen.
Aria nodded rummaging through her pack finding the water and gulping it down.Elon sat with his back against a rock wall, arms curled around his legs, head on his knees. Not interested in her party tricks.

Cam followed suit. It was pointless to get dehydrated.
Kyle had his own tiny flask in his pocket.
Apparently Mallie could sew some tiny stuff. She was an amazing young lady, and totally key to their success. He wasn’t going to question it, he hated begging for sips from people’s caps.
“Do we have to conserve water? Or will there be water on the way?” Kyle asked. Technically, rationing water was a bad idea. But it also wasn’t a good idea to gulp it all down outright.
“There should be enough streams along the path,” Korim replied. He was biting into a pink fruit that looked like a cashew apple but hopefully wasn’t, because those be acidic.
It's a trap. Let me handle it. Why should I? I can take care of myself.Take hung onto the bars like a monkey, adjusting his hold higher when Blair reached out to grab the keys. “True” he agreed immediately, “But you want these, right?” he asked, followed up by jingling the keys in a taunting manner. “Freedom? Save your niece?”
"You have to bring it back." He said again. Taking Noah, and Emma's hands in his leading them away toward the glowing fruit trees. "It's not mine."She closed the small piece of glass in her palm, holding it close. “Thank you,” she said quietly. “I’ll always remember this.” Then she turned to leave. (Glowing fruit trees? :0 what fun)"You have to bring it back." He said again. Taking Noah, and Emma's hands in his leading them away toward the glowing fruit trees. "It's not mine."
(Take is now on everyones mind. So much so that Noah is hallucinating. )(Glowing fruit trees? :0 what fun)
Noah was both hungry and thirsty, and the glowing fruit in neon shades of orange, yellow, green, and pink looked delicious and inviting.
Of course the fruit was low enough even for someone of Noah’s stature. Before Take knew it, Noah had reached up and plucked a fruit from the tree.
