Take was running with high momentum, Almost there.. He looked over his shoulder when he picked up fast footsteps coming up behind him which resulted in Blair tackling him to the floor, his face eating it. He groaned into the gravel, the small pebbles sticking to his face when he lifted his head. His horns had grown shorter, nearly appearing as nubs now. It was like Blair slammed the demon out of control. Take had been fighting to regain himself single-handedly, the demons hold lessening over time till now. He still felt tired and drained before he passed out earlier, but he managed to lift himself up slightly with Blair still on top of him.Blair spun, diving after the keys and scrambling to pick them up as quick as possible. Upon sight of it, her heart dropped. Many keys, many shapes, and little time to catch the demon before he escaped. She was so close to getting Take back, teetering on the edge but if she wasn't quick enough...
She slid her arms through the bars, tracing the outline of the keyhole and shoving key after key inside as quick as she could. Come on...damn you...
Nothing was happening, until a click reached her ears, and the key turned, the door creaking open. She barely stopped herself from yelling in triumph, staring at the door. Realizing she was wasting more time then nessicary, she crept out of the cell, glancing around. No one in sight. Yet.
She picked up the demons scent- Take's scent -quickly, racing after the direction it led. Moments later, her target came into sight and she pounced, slamming him to the ground. "You aren't going anywhere."
