The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Fred and Ellie nodded enthusiastically, Eve practically leaped for joy
"Fine with me" Hana agreed, "We need secluded space."
No school?! Kipp's face screwed up in surprise and disbelief. They'd really cancel school? He unlike the others hadn't heard anything at all about there being a virus and it all seemed far too insane to be true. He looked around at his companions as they all seemed to recognize what the officer was talking about.

He followed them back into the storage garage, frowning at the police who barely seemed content with them going back inside.

Hearing Cam read the numbers was shocking. How could something he'd never heard of cause so much death in such a short amount of time.

"Hmm? Going to Russia?" That was far, even further than his place, the two bedroom apartment where he lived barely held him, his brother, and his dad, an extra 16 people weren't going to fit there. "Yeah. I guess. We can't exactly stay here."

Kipp chewed at his lip anxiously. A million what if's running though his head.
“Alright, Russia it is,” Kevin said said, clapping once. “Aria, think you can handle it?” He asked, looking at her. He glanced down at Torin, giving him a small smile at his enthusiasm. He doubted the boy knew what that meant, but he didn’t feel like educating him.
(Sorry, I’m having issues writing longer posts. I think I used it all on the character story. XD)
"Great, we're going to Russia!" Lilith chirped, crossing her arms. I'm gonna take so many photos. She patted her camera once, but soon felt a wave of something like depression wash over her.
The world was falling apart, she was homeless, and they were going to Russia.
Great.
(Nah, it's fine. I get that XD)
“Of course. Form a circle, hold hands everyone.” Aria grinned
Colby was still trying to process the immensity of it all, so he nodded complacently. All the undying pep had been sucked clean out of him and, at the moment, he most closely emulated a deflated GoGurt tube.
"Yo, guys, what about Ciro and Aella?" Nat blurted after going through a cursory mental tally. All of the teleportation mishaps that had gone down during their time in Borealis had taught her well. "Were they supposed to stay?"
Kevin scooped up the chickens, who were now almost too big to fit in the bag. Somehow all of them managed to survive the past 3+ months without getting seriously hurt. Well, except for the time Eve nearly killed them.
Once they were all in his bag, he grabbed the hands of the two people closest to him.
Lilith grabbed whoever she grabbed first, which happened to be Aria's shoulder and Kevin's hand, and Tru rested against her leg.
Kylan had picked Torin back up onto his shoulders, reaching over and grabbing Aria's and Hana's hands.
"Alright, let's--" Lilith was cut off by Nat, and she gave a sigh. "No, we're just waiting on the lovebirds, and Blair." How slow can they be?

“Where are they?” Aria asked looking around

(Oh, Heavens, I forgot your post.)
“This one goes to Missouri. Where the coffee shop was,” Laurel explained. In the Great Library of Literature (as it’s name meant in English) the adventurers discussed with him all of the adventures they had had together with him.

"Missouri?" Aella wasn't actually sure were Missouri was, but from her knowledge it wasn't near New York, and certainly not Mexico. That thought made her heart beat a little faster, though, at the thought of being away from Ciro when they figured out how to get home. They'd gone through far to much for that.
"It's not bad for me, not like I have anywhere to go home to in New York, but Ciro..."
"Great, we'll go then," Ciro consented immediately, without having a clue what or where this Missouri was.
All that mattered is that they'd all still be together.
For a little while longer, at least.
And that little while would give him more time to figure out some things that needed to be figured out.
He went down the line of those staying behind, taking each of their hands and shaking heartily. He would've spent years trying to express all of his due gratitudes and remorses if he could've. But, in his mind's eye, there was a definite window for their leave, and it was closing quickly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." And when he at last came to Kyle, he somberly knelt before the distinguished little man and offered his roughened hand. "Thank you, Mr. Beck, for saving us. Both in ways you are aware of and ways you never will be."

He then turned to Aella with an expression of complete earnest, absolutely no hesitation to be found there now. "We'll figure it all out when we get through. Some things are best left to the unknown, right?"

“I can try teleporting us” Aria suggested
Kevin slowly raised his hand. “If we could get to Russia then my house would be perfect. It’s big, and it’s only me.” He offered.
“What’s further

”I reckon I could give it a shot” she grinned
“Your teleporting skills have improved so much!” Cam exclaimed. Aria’s teleporting skills had in fact improved by leaps and bounds in Borealis. Everyone’s abilities seemed to be enhanced, especially after meeting the strange Rugæ lady.
"Screw it, I vote we do it. Always wanted to go to Russia. Cam, Kylan, Hana, Charlie? Nat and Colby? Fred, Ellie, Eve, Kipp? What do you guys think?" Lilith said, looking coolly to each in turn.
Kylan sighed, shaking his head. "Yeah, let's." He agreed, shrugging. What could it hurt?
"
We're going to communist Russia? Really? Yay!" Torin asked unfortanutely loudly, standing on his tippy toes beside the eleven teenagers, three young adults, and other two kids.
"Torin!" Kylan scolded, glancing at Kevin. I wonder if he gets offended by that?
“Yay, communism!” Noah exclaimed. He and Torin had become fast friends on their trip, after Noah had gotten over the fact that Torin was SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL than him.
“Hey, at least in Russia they openly label communism. Here they apparently call it ‘social distancing,’” Cam pointed out. “But wait... I can’t speak Russian.”

“Hey! What are you doing outside? Going to a party... uh... cosplay?” A group of quarantine police noticed the fabulously dressed teens, along with some who looked like they had just stepped out of a Game of Thrones movie. As far as the baffled officer could tell, there weren’t any parties or cosplays going on anymore, but these rebellious young teens obviously planned to go to one.
“Don’t you know about the curfew? Are you trying to sOcIaLIze? Get back in your home!”
He falsely mistook the storage unit for a home (because in this alternate Earth people really do use them as homes.)
Maya hurriedly hid her sword behind her back. “This isn’t what it looks like,” She blurted out. She tugged at her leather tunic uncomfortably. What has the government done this time? People can’t even socialize anymore?
Charlie turned invisible and grabbed Alex’s hand, tugging him a little closer.
(Just so everyone knows Kyle also has a landline phone on the ground. Sorry)
“My cousin Tyler tells me Russia smells like communism,” Noah put in.
Charlie had a flashback to the time his class had read Animal Farm. A sideways smile played at the corner of his mouth. Though he had been zoning out through most of it, he remembered the general plot.
Alex laughed rather loudly, not seeming to care about the police staring them down. He also had no idea what ‘communism’ meant; it just sounded funny.

”Yeah,” Charlie agreed. Maya nodded. We’re going to be a long way from California.

Kyle gripped Ciro’s rough, tan index finger in his soft white hand and shook it. “Many returns,” he said. Rylie bonked his furry head into Ciro’s palm. “Goodbye.”

"Yeah!" Torin laughed, smirking. Communism was obviously the best thing to joke about with his newfound friend. "Communism!"
"Torin! Noah!" Kylan groaned, giving Kevin an apologetic smile.

Lilith glanced at her. "Remember? We don't have to. No one's suppose to go anywhere, and if we have to go to stores, me or Kevin can. We both know Russian." She shrugged. "Translating it for you all should be easy. I can't read it, but I can speak it."

Kevin stuck his hands out on either side of him. “Well lucky for you, I can,” he said. “Besides, the only people we might run into there is my family. And most of them speak English. Sometimes it’s broken, but presumably understandable.”

“Thanks” Aria felt flattered at Cams compliment

"Is Blair even coming?" Colby tilted his head in the saddest little quizzical way possible. Over time, she'd become a big sister to all of them, really, just like Take was the somewhat more reluctant big brother.
They'd already left him.
But could she even work without he?
