The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Torin snickered, rocking back and forth on the heels of his feet. "Heh, he doesn't even realize that they're pretty much a couple! He's so weird."

Kylan sighed, scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah, yeah, I can. Sorry about all that, Ari. They'll be quiet." And I suppose I will, too. " We kinda just... Got out of hand. Um, is there anything else you need from me?"

"Good!" Torin said to Noah, smirking. "He needs it, sometimes. He has it coming to him." He sighed dramatically, like some sort of exasperated older family member. "It helps keep him down to earth, ya'know?"

Kylan heard the crash as the pillow was flung into the lamp and hit the wall, turning and putting his head near the door. "If anything's broke when I come back in, you're taking full responsibility when you boys talk to Kevin!"
Noah snickered and snuck back to the bed, slipping under the covers and fake snoring.
“Quick, back to bed!” He called to the others.

“Oh, she’s givin’ him the what for,” Noah reported, his ear pressed against the door.

Alex, now attempting to peer through the keyhole, squinted even more. He couldn’t see anything. But he certainly wasn’t going to let it on to the others. “They’re- um- they’re hugging!” He squealed gleefully. He hoped that his communist fellows wouldn’t detect this obvious lie and be satisfied by his amazing spy-skills.

Kevin grimaced, hearing the sounds of children screaming and laughing, even from downstairs. He could tell they were jumping, probably on the bed. I need to lay down some ground rules tomorrow, he thought.
Glancing around the room, it looked like most of them had gone upstairs. He hoped they found their way around okay.
He rubbed the side of his face, trudging up the stairs. Now that he was closer, he could hear the kids hitting each other and still screaming about communism. I should tell them to quiet down.
He was halfway down the hall when he heard a crash coming from one of the bedrooms. He stopped, closing his eyes. It was only a matter of time before they broke something. He thought it would’ve taken longer, but he was glad it happened before he went into town so he could replace whatever it was.
He opened his eyes, continuing down the hall. Stopping at the kids room, he knocked on the door.

"Alrighty!" Torin whispered, slinking in beside Noah and pretending to be asleep, but gave a soft giggle at Alex.
“I think that will be all” Aria eyed him suspiciously “well goodnight Kylan”.
Kylan smiled widely. "Best dark, sleep compact, please don't get bitten by the aphids." He said in the most serious voice, trying to pick out the weirdest words he could to change a normal sentence to be silly.
With that, he whirled around and slunk into the boy's room, eyeing each of them-- Knowing they were faking it, but he still plopped down into a ball on the makeshift bed he'd made for himself on the floor.

Kylan growled under his breath, pushing himself up and slipping over to the door, opening it and swallowing when he saw Kevin. Crap. "Uh, hi." He laughed nervously, glancing behind him at the fake-sleeping boys. "Welcome to the idiot's room, how can I help you?"

Aria walked into Room 3 curling up under the blankets and starting to drift off to sleep

Kevin awkwardly smiled at him. “I’m sorry to disturb you. I heard a lot of... ruckus, and I wanted to see if you could maybe keep it down a little? I know it’s hard, with them being little kids and all, so I understand if you can’t,” he paused, peering into the room. They were now all obviously fake sleeping, with a broken lamp on the floor. “Ah, nevermind, looks like they’re sleeping. Hold on, I’ll go get a dustpan.” He said softly. He went downstairs and into the garage, coming back to Kylan’s room with a small, hand-held broom. “May I?” Kevin asked, waiting for a second before coming in to sweep up the mess.

Donning his most angelic face, Noah quit fake-snoring. The only thing that could now set him apart from an actual sleeping person was the cheeky smile that tugged at the edges of his mouth.

Kylan sighed, guilt sinking into him as he allowed him in. This is his house, that I'm a visitor in, and I'm the one out of nineteen other people people to let one of the kids mess it up. "Sorry, Kevin. It is hard to keep them... Collected." You did join in on it, idiot. "But I'll try better. I'm so sorry about the lamp, I'll pay you back whatever it cost. I know it may have meant more, but... I can't really rewind time, or I would."
