The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"I want to go home!"
Blair winced, gritting her teeth against Emma's sharp whine in her ear. Yeah, I know, we all want to go home, kid.
"I know, we will go home soon, though, okay?" She tried to keep the annoyance out of her tone, but she wasn't sure she completely succeeded, because Emma quieted down with a whimper.
In reality, Blair quite honestly did not want to go back home. Despite what they had gone through in the short amount of time, going home meant leaving the group. Going home meant leaving Take.
And she really did not want to do that.
Speaking of Take, she could tell he was telling some great story or another by his wild gestures and the bits and pieces she picked up, but couldn't fully hear him over the other loud chatter in the cave.
She would have gone over to him and Kit, who was circling his legs, apparently enjoying whatever he was talking about even if she couldn't understand, but there was too much noise. Not just the talking but the storm pounding outside.
She retreated to the back of the cave, where it was quieter, shifting Emma to her other hip.
No one could pinpoint the origin of Take’s sudden energy that seemed to replenish itself when he was reunited with the group. He had only been completely drained and tired from his adventurous descend down the mountain earlier topped with his lack of sleep. But those factors didn’t seem to count anymore. He was proudly sharing with Korim and Kyle about his great battle with the ‘hundred’ of guards he fought off in the Dakrium, mostly to boast to Korim because the kid was heavily muscled and could probably accomplish the same feat. It was a stupid contest of testosterone. At the end of it, Take was still holding that smug grin, crossing his arms as if he was showing dominance until something light tapped him on the forearm. He expected to see a child from how light and hesitant the touch was, but it was Hana, holding her pack up to him. Raising a brow, he stared at the appearance of the he was guessing— backpack that some of the others had slung over their shoulders as well. She shook the pack persistently, trying to encourage Take to retrieve a food item. Though this three-eyed man was looking too much into it, confusion sprawled on his face.

“Uhh... that’s a nice bag there... do you want me to take it or somethin’?” he asked, tilting his head, unable to read... what was even her name? Had she shared that information? Well she hadn’t shared much of anything about herself since this journey started. Whatever it was, he couldn’t read her masked face and it irritated him.

Suddenly, Hana huffed in annoyance, finally deciding to use her words.

I swear if you make me hold up this bag any longer... just take some food for you, your girlfriend, and the little girl already..” she hissed.

This got a rise out of Take, and he started to laugh.

“So you can talk! I thought you were like that death voice girl too!” he roared, starting to search through the pack for whatever food contents it held. There didn’t seem to be much after Hana’s circuit to feed the others, and he was receiving the bottom of the barrel in a sense. He was able to pull out two small fruits the size of his palm and a lengthy piece of dried meat— which would be for Kit. When he was done his laughing ceased and just held a playful smile, “Thanks”

Hana responded with a small nod, lowering the pack and putting it back over her shoulders.

Take spun around to search for Blair and Emma, but they were gone. His gaze darted amongst all the faces and he grew increasingly uneasy like a kid who lost their mom in a grocery store. “Where’d they go..?” he said mostly to himself, but a guiding hand came to his aid.

It was Hana’s, who seemed to know where they wandered off. Though she said nothing else as her finger pointed weakly towards the further back of the cave.

Take clicked his tongue, “Yeah I knew that” he grumbled, rolling his eyes. He bent down and gave Kit her treat, which would disappear in a matter of seconds to settle in her tummy. “Viens Kit! he announced to the collie as he sprang to reunite with Blair and Emma.

“Oh, I’m so sorry Kipp. I didn’t know, it’s fine. I was being a bit snappy too and triggering you, I’m sorry too” Fred said following Kipp inside the cave
"It's not like you could have known." He said shrugging, as they stepped out of the rain and back inside.

"Did you see the dragon?" He asked pointing at the giant red feathery thing laying on the floor. "I didn't think Take was serious about them existing here."

Kit, proudly wielding her stick of meat, occasionally whacking the legs of poor bystanders with either her tail or treat, bounded over to where Take was meeting Blair.
She was sitting on the cave floor, back against the wall with a half-alseep Emma leaning against her. She looked up at Take, grinning. "Finally finished your wonderous tale?" She teased lightly, keeping her voice low. She didn't want to be too loud, lest Emma wake again. "I would like to know where you get your energy from. It would be quite helpful."

“Whoa. How’d it die?” Fred said more than a little freaked out

Take stood before Blair and Emma, juggling the two Yugi fruits in his hands. He couldn’t help but return her grin, “Yeah, you really missed out, especially when I socked some dudes tooth out. It was sick.” He realized that Emma was attempting to sleep, and he immediately caught himself, making sure to lower his voice the next time he spoke. He lowered himself to the ground next to Blair, leaning his back up against the cave wall. “Nah, that information is top secret..” he whispered slyly. The fruits in his palms had grown warm and he offered them to Blair, “Here, for you and Emma.”

“Whoa. How’d it die?” Fred said more than a little freaked out
Kipp shook his head, it was hard to imagine such a big thing actually dying. "Someone else might know."
Almost as if she was a ghost, Hana quietly stalked up on the two scruffy boys. She looked over their condition in silence. How did she miss them? But it didn’t matter now, she was there and hopefully there was something left in her bag for them, or else she’d have to rely on someone else to feed them. “Hungry?” she asked grimly.

“Indeed” Fred said turning “thanks”

Kipp looked up at the masked girl, he couldn't remember if he'd even asked her her name before. What he did remember was asking if she'd been burned by acid, and she'd pretty much said yes. It seemed like he wasn't capable of having a normal interaction with people. Especially when he'd just met them.

"Yeah." He glanced at Fred, wondering if he knew what her name was, though he didn't think it was likely since Fred had disappeared about the same time he had.
"Um, I don't remember your name. But thank you." He said, eyeing the open maw of the bag she was holding out toward them. He didn't like accepting food from her when he hadn't bothered to remember her name, but she had offered and he was hungry. So he stuck his hand in and too the first thing that his fingers fell on. Which happened to be a dried stick of meat.
