The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Everyone had awoken by now.
Kyle looked around. Rylie had received a piece of jerky from Cam who looked sympathetically upon the gigantic cat’s meowing.
Rylie was now sitting majestically and Kyle crawled up to perch on his head.
“Okay... now is the time I should tell you what we’re up against...”
“Please do” Aria said

Kipp fought the playful smirk that was threatening to turn into a grin, biting at the inside of his lip to keep it where it was. It was shocking the change in his own emotions after a decent nights sleep. Of course solving his problems with Fred had helped a lot too. Things were actually looking up for the first time in a long while.

“Selena -that is your name, right?-“ Kyle looked at Selena (is that her name?) like he expected her to answer him in English. “Tells me this: Olim, the one people don’t like talking about very much, is basically a hive mind controlling a great number of deadly mythical beasts along with a small number of associates. With the control of these, he is able to strike fear into the Borealans and he caused those in Mobrikam, the fortress that can never be spelled in the same way twice, the fortress above Dakrium, to become his slaves.
Laborers in Dakrium and the slave farms, Cornomen, are working to be able to arm and feed an army. Olim’s power is increasing daily. Soon he won’t need the help of his free associates to twist the minds of people into his will. He won’t make them into we-sas, they’ll have all their abilities intact, which will actually be more powerful. We-sas need stealth to be successful. But she doesn’t know what he’s using the army for. I have some ideas.”

(Siena like the color, burnt Sienna, but only 1 N. Not that it'll matter. Kyle's allowed to get it wrong he only just met her last night, and he had other more important things on his mind.)

Siena oblivious to the fact that he was trying to talk to her kept doing what she was, only glancing up when he said some of the names she recognized.

---

Kipp tried to follow what Kyle was saying, but was inevitably lost when he started using the Borelean words. So far as he could tell though he still hadn't said what they were going to do.

Kevin turned to look at Kyle, listening to him speak as he pulled pieces of fruit into small chunks and fed it to his birds. He had some jerky for himself, which was break-your-teeth hard from not being sealed properly, and silently nibbled on it, his brows furrowing at the information.
Hive mind? He wasn’t sure what exactly that meant in English, but it didn’t sound good. He blinked, frowning at Kyles strange words. It didn’t sound like English, and especially not like Russian or Romanian, so he assumed it was the language native to Borealis. Another language to learn. This will be complicated.

Fred looked at Chion “do you know who this Olim guy is?”
Chion's smile faded at the name. She could hear the tiny guy talking about him too, and the place where they had been. "Olim." She said grumpily sitting back on her heels. She'd have said all the bad words she knew, about him, if it would make any difference, but Fred wouldn't understand her. She was annoyed that she again wasn't able to communicate with him. Though she'd noticed a linguist was hanging out with this new crowd and she could probably use his form if she had to. If he wouldn't be upset about it.

“Anyways,” said Kyle, “I think Olim is trying to take over Earth.

Fred peered at her unsure of why she had reacted the way she did to his name

English was hard enough to understand. Another language on top of that was going to drive Aella crazy. She was trying to understand what the little man had just said, not just the Borelean words but whatever a hive-mind was, when he announced Olim's great master plan. "What?"
Another universe was one thing. She didn't leave there.
Earth was another.
"He's trying to take over Earth? But why? This place is so much better then Earth. I'd just go up there and tell him that he's wasting his time. Earth is just filled with too many building and cars and idiotic people. Not that special."
