(Fox Bait is the name of at least 50 percent of my cockerels and this is why Kevin is so relatable. But I don’t have the lyrical genius to call them “Fox Food.”)Kevin tried to hide his wince at the name suggestion. “That’s. . . Cute, but not really what I’m going for,” he said slowly. “I prefer names that. . . Have a purpose? I don’t know how to phrase that in English. For example, Mama, or a rooster I have is named Fox Food.” He explained.
“‘Fox Food’?” Cam asked, snickering. “It sounds like you don’t like that one very much.” She was wondered if Fox Food was alliterative in Russian or if it was purely a coincidence.
