We were going to foster, but he got kennel cough the day we were going to pick him up, then a week passed and they called us and talked to us about adopting because they knew we were interested in fostering to adopt. They asked why not just adopt and we told them we wanted to make sure he would be good with our cats, and they reassured us that in the shelter environment, he was scared of cats, so we're going to adopt instead on Monday when they open up for adoptions.
