It’s really windy here. Poor Huddie is getting seriously spooked.

So I'd never heard of this, but apparently it's a "thing" to have white elephant parties where the whole point is to give some one something useless.

The term white elephant refers to an extravagant, impractical gift that cannot be easily disposed of. The phrase is said to come from the historic practice of the King of Siam (now Thailand) giving rare albino elephants to courtiers who had displeased him, so that they might be ruined by the animals' upkeep costs.

It was real windy earlier this week. And it was an east wind! Usually wind in North America comes from the west.

I heard of that! I didn’t know he gave them to courtiers that displeased him though. That’s really funny, paying so much money just to ruin someone.
