Oh I know they bite and they sting. Horrible creature the wasp is.No, I grew up in SW PA. I know for a fact that wasps can bite. I watched as they swiveled their heads around and took little chunks out of my thumb.
Exactly! Now I make sure I fry them until they start smoking.Zombi wasps!! Run
I had a wasp land on my face once, i was too scared to swat it away. I stood there still as a statue until it had chewed off a piece of my lip and flown away. I then ran screaming it the care and refused to come out (I was twelve). No, I grew up in SW PA. I know for a fact that wasps can bite. Terrifying!!!I had a wasp land on my face once, i was too scared to swat it away. I stood there still as a statue until it had chewed off a piece of my lip and flown away. I then ran screaming it the care and refused to come out (I was twelve).
Squashed wasps do not become zombies. You need to learn to hit harder. The love pats that you give Ralphie will not kill a wasp.Exactly! Now I make sure I fry them until they start smoking.
exactlyTerrifying!!!
But don't you have to train your lappers over and over? I mean, the workers don't live very long in growing season--couple weeks maybe...I am training my bees to be lappers. Lappers love attention and would never sting.
Mud Daubers can sting. Velvet Ants are actually a wasp and I found out the hard way that they can sting multiple times.Everyone says mud daubers don't sting either.
But I think they bite. I don't like those anymore than I like wasp.
