SO COOL. We tried to expose DD to everything when she was young.
She turned 4 in a Tea Room in Manhattan and 5 on a deer stand in Mississippi.
(Of course a 5yo in a deer stand is just hanging out in the woods. I'm sure she scared every deer out of the county.)

But I bet she had fun and will always have that memory

Hey, do you guys know how to remove scent from traps? I just bought a new DP coon trap and I don't know what the best method is,. I have heard that boiling traps on baking soda water removes scent but will it hurt my DP in any way?

Boil them in oak leaves.

We don't have any oak around here unfortunately, that's why I was wondering about the baking soda

What leaves do you have! Boil it in the leaves of what you have or where you want to set them.

Then do not store them in your shop or house.

Is it alright if they have been on the ground all winter??

I don’t recall. I think as long as you need to to get rid of oils and residue.
