I don’t recall. I think as long as you need to to get rid of oils and residue.

And how long would I boil it?

My thoughts, it only takes a 1 minute boil to sterilize water, I would say that would be sufficient. If in doubt go 2 minutes

That's kinda what I figured, I haven't really looked much into skunks so I didnt really know. Thanks!!

Correction you can and you used to be able to sell the furs. Back when people wore fur before becoming all “woke”.

I must caution you if you skin it. Use extreme care around the scent glands. They are located in the same place they are on a mink.
