tried to go fishing at a lake close to family's farm (so close they own like 4 acres of shoreline) . was so windy almost got the hook in my face.

guess i will have to try another day.
 
i think were going to the river tommorow... not fishing but canoe cyaking... ill probably take a fishing pole tho.... it isnt very good fishing....

All 4 of my stock ponds are overflowing so the fish aint biting. The river is up 4 feet, stinking tropical storm.

If it helps any I was gonna fry some river cat, bass, and crappie I had in the freezer but ran out of propane. Grilled em and my dad said they were good but I cant stand grilled fish. I'd rather eat 'em raw.

Started four years ago, shot AT a turkey, took a break three years ago, two years ago shot my first tom (8 1/2 in beard, 30-35 yards away, had absolutely no cover, just sitting up next to a tree), season this year wielded a shorter beard, BUT IT WAS A DOUBLE BEARD. (20 yards, I was sitting close enough go the truck I could have reached out and touched it XD) I'll take some pictures later today.
 
already starting to plan for fall hunting season, got drawn for nothing this year,

going elk hunting on my family's land as its an over the counter zone, maybe moose hunting as well as there is an over the counter season just north of where we elk hunt.
