Actually don’t move to florida! I just stepped outside, a cold front came through last night and now it’s bonechilling cold out there!![]()
40 to 50 is parka weather!!! It’s 55 out there right now!!! And wet!!! And overcast!! It’s absolutely miserable!!! I cant even fly my rc it’s so cold!!!!Been there done that!
Not for me. Too many people. Too hot and muggy. What you call bonechilling cold we call a nice June day.
We had 5 below and 30-40 mph winds last day and a half. What do you call that?
True story, shortly after buying our house in Florida, we went to Walmart during Christmas season. The bell ringer had a parka on, stocking cap pulled over her ears, winter boots on and her gloves hands in her pockets with the bell barely outside her pockets giving it a half hearted ring.
We were wearing shorts, tee shirts and flip flops. We laughed at the bell ringer. It must have been 45-50. Swimming weather not parka weather.
I am trying to grasp the word40 to 50 is parka weather!!! It’s 55 out there right now!!! And wet!!! And overcast!! It’s absolutely miserable!!! I cant even fly my rc it’s so cold!!!!![]()

And I would rather fight the cold weather than be covered with mosquito bites, sweat in my eyes and stomping a copperhead into the mud…To paraphrase someone from the northern Gulf Coast last year, " I would rather be covered with mosquito bites, sweat in my eyes, stomping a copperhead into the mud in flipflops than fight that cold weather."
