The Ignis Brotherhood ~^~ A Technology Roleplay ~^~

Rin's fingers brushed lightly on the green leaves. She leaned close to the plants and inhaled the rich scent of earth. If she closed her eyes, she could imagine being outside. Just for a moment – she never could seem to fool herself for more than a moment. But sometimes, that moment was all she needed. If she just lost herself, no matter how quickly she found her way back, that feeling lingered just one wonderful moment more.

"They're lovely," she breathed. She grinned at her friend. Green. Everywhere green in so many perfect shades. Perhaps she could get window boxes? But then, would the plants even grow in the artificial light? Next time she saw Mister Mystery, she'd ask him. Even if she needed a sledgehammer to break his shell of antisocialness.

Anise smiled widely, seeing how pleased her friend was made her feel happy, and in an odd way, it made her appreciate Aspen more, though she still didn't get what he was doing with all these plants. Unbeknownst to her, every plant in there had originally come from outside the dome, everything from plantain herb and lemongrass to clover and dandelions, which were flowering, though Anise did not know what any of it was.

"I've never seen most of these plants, well, all of them. Maybe I just don't pay enough attention or something, but like–" She said in a perplexed tone, and touched the bright yellow flower of one of the dandelions, "I'm sure I've never seen this."

((Hey, just wait one second there, I forbid you to use that Fuzz! Well, just don't mark up his pretty little face, alrighty? Please?))
(Don't worry, just his Shell-o'-Mystery.)

"Where did he get all these?" Rin asked. She moved over to the plant Anise was looking at. "I have. In a book, I mean. It's called a dandelion. They get seeds in a puffball on top. People used to blow on them to make wishes." Gently, she touched the bright yellow petals, marveling at their softness.

((Haha, well I'll have to let you do that!))

"That's a weird name for a plant, and wishing on there, I'd very have guessed that," Anise said, peering at the plants as if they were from another planet, "I don't actually know where he gets them, every few weeks or so, he leaves for part or most of the day, and comes back with a only a few plants or seeds, that he then grows a ton of plants from. I wish I knew more."

A single beeping sound caught Anise's attention, then the timed watering system turned on, making a small hissing sound as it misted each rack individually. She laughed, stepping back quickly as to not get sprayed.

Aspen had parked, and was now walking to the apartment, carrying the bag with their food in one hand. He reached the alley, turned down it, got to the end, and walked down the stairs to the door, opening it silently.

((Oooooohh they gonna get caught. Can anybody remember where all my charries are and who they're interacting with? I had a brain crash yesterday and I can hardly remember anything))

((Sure, Violet was sitting at a window, and is going to come with Lexa to meet Aspen for a talk later; Matthew overheard Aspen talking to Lexa on the phone about their meeting while on the streets, and only god knows what he's up to now, 'cause you only said that he 'slipped into the crowd' after he overheard them; Dally was running from the cops for fun and got away by ducking into a building and is now in a elevator, going UP! I don't have a clue what your other characters are up too, I've only interacted with these ones. You know, you could read some of the post to get an idea! :P ))

Dally got off of the elevator, heading purposely down a hallway. About halfway down it, there was a door leading to the roof, disguised as a supply closet.

As Matthew wandered, he came up with possible conversations that Aspen could've had. But none of them came close to the actual reality.

Violet got up and walked out of the room, starting to grab her weapons.

Rin shrugged, "People used to wish on a lot of things. I'm not sure if they were more hopeful ore had more they needed to hope for." She smiled as the mist hit her. Like rain. Unlike Anise, she stepped a little closer, just not close enough to interfere with the plants' watering.

Aspen frowned slightly as he noticed the two, glasses of water on the coffee table, he went and set the food down on the counter in the kitchenette, then came back into the main room.

"I'm guessing they were more hopeful." Anise replied with a touch of longing in her voice, the soft sound of the mist covering Aspen's return...

Aspen began slowly walking past the coffee table, towards the bed rooms, eyes narrowing is suspicion, hand poised to pull out his pistol, "Anise...?"

"Oh, f***! He's back." Anise hissed and jumped at the sound his voice.
