Woke up this morning to all 10 eggs hatch. Happy days!

My incubator doesn’t display humidity (and foolishly I don’t have any hygrometers to check humidity) but I have a Brinsea Maxi advance and for the first 18 days I only fill one side of the reservoir with water and on lockdown I will fill both reservoirs fully with water.

Wow! I'm glad you found what works for you! And to get 100% hatch without knowing humidity is pretty amazing!

Thank you! This is only my second time hatching so I’m still very early to incubating but it worked well last time and this time so think I may have found how to set humidity perfectly for my incubator. I feel if I had a hygrometer I would just panic if it went out of parameters and cause more problems trying to solve it.

Don't be discouraged if you don't see any movement. They rest a lot.

I did a nitwit thing with my last hatch which is still in the incubator. I forgot to mark on the calendar when I put them in the incubator and now I don't remember what day it was. I did candle some yesterday. I set up the hatcher and when they start to pip I'll move them to it.

I do that all the time. I have recently started putting the date on the eggs that I put them in the incubator. No more forgetting and if I do I have it written down where it won’t get lost on the egg.
