The incubator I just built

that is awesome !! you must be quite the handy person. oh, i wish !! are you going to sell commercial? how many does it hold and what are the water bottels for ??

Pretty serious stuff! Do you have automatic egg turners? Tilting type? Can you show photo how it works?

Also is your heat source a light bulb? Is that enough for such a large incubator?

I have (4) little giant automatic egg turners for this, so I believe it will do (164) eggs. I have dual heating Elements mounted in front of the top two fans. Each of the heating elements has a (3) small ceramic bushings that hold each heating element securely to a galvanized bracket. There is a 3 1/2 inch space behind top set of fans in the back for the air to flow up from back and feed the fans/heater elements. Also at front there is 4 1/2 inches of space to allow air to flow straight down face to bottom. ( Not directly at egg trays)
I have two lights inside that I wanted so I could view when Chicks pip. I have an LED bulb on top and a 60 watt rough service bulb on bottom which actually produces very little heat. I wired both bulbs to switches on box so I could have choice to turn either off at any time. also having two if I need too I can change one to different style.
Single fan on front top blows downwards and single fan in rear bottom blows upwards.

Door has 3/8 thick Lexan window. Didn't want to loos any heat.

The heating elements, 110 volt fans, Egg turners, and Thermostat with probe came from Incubator warehouse.

Awesome. Looks as good or better than the manufactured one I bought for over $700. How much do you have invested in it so far?

I kept it simple so any repair parts would be able to be replaced by me or someone else and be able to be ordered online or bought at local hardware store or such place. I am guessing I have $650 into this before I bought the (4) 6300 little giant auto egg turners at $49.00 each. Thank you for the compliments. I was a machinist and do quite a bit of woodwork, so I'm very picky about measurements/ functions. I built this over the last two months and just got done with it two days ago. Little bit at a time.

my father was a machinist. the work he did was amazing. even as a little girl i remember the steel marbles and rings he would bring us to play with.
