Well, if you lived by me, I have some blue Australorp babies already, and will also be having some splash ones when I do a spring hatch. My splash pullet is just starting to lay eggs now, and my splash boy will be breeding her.

Haha Im in a different Continent to you! But thanks for the offer

I know that you are. That is why I said if you lived by me. I just got back home from going to that memorial thing about an hour ago. Trying to catch up on the threads now.

It went ok. They put his ashes in where the parachute goes on the back of an Alcohol Flat Promod racing boat, so that he could have his last ride down the river as was his last wish. Oh, and his ashes went into the river.

The kitchen sponges worked! Humidity is up to 71. Temp is at a stable 100. So hopfully it doesn't get too hot in there. I had to put 5 sponges in there and all tbe holes are closed. So i figure throughout the night i can tweak as needed so i can get at least 1 or 2 holes open without bringing the humidity down too much. Im worried the temp is going to get too high as well woth all the holes closed. But it seems that maybe the humidity is keeping the temp down a little? I guess we find out!

Well, here's a picture of them that was taken a couple weeks ago or so, but they are redder now in the combs and wattles. Flash, my cockerel is doing his thing with one of the older black hens. My Blue and Splash pullets are on the left side. The blue babies I just hatched out will look like the blue pullet when they get to her age.
