I found out later, now that this is 3 years later that DON'T BUY JUMBL incubators, people !
Due to the rectangular shape, the air does not circulate, nor the heat. Out of 10, you may get 2 eggs to hatch.
DO NOT BUY these. If they are still on the market.
Best bet are the round ones. MannaPro has one. Worked absolutely great. Even the water adding port is external, so you need not interrupt the temp. It revolves at great intervals, and can be advanced, etc. It will put you out around $170.00, but it's better than crying over failures.
To me, nothing is worse than mercy killings, and ruined eggs from lousy incubators ! Trust me. Never get a rectangular cheapo-incubator. I don't care what anyone says to defend these beastly things. They are inconsistent. We're dealing with precious life when incubating, and it's worth the money to get a good machine. Then no heart ache.
I still hurt 2 years later for the ones that were lost. Not worth it.
