Last night we were outside w/ a fire going in our outdoor wood stove. We had a movie going in the ol' lap-top and the big umbrella protecting us from the rain (it is still raining here). As the night got darker, our chicks started fussing. They were looking at us hard and carrying on. It took them 20 minutes to finally get into the coop & settle in. Were they telling us they wanted to hang out w/ us next to the stove? Do chickens like to be next to a heat source? (I am afraid of course that they would jump on top of the stove & burn their little feet off) Is this normal?

I don't know if it is normal or not, but I think it is adorable! All you needed is popcorn
