Do yours lay in a nest box? I still don't really have a "proper" duck house for them, they're in an old dog house. I'm hoping to get a duck house started this weekend and finished by next.

They are still in their temporary home. We hope to have the coop finished this weekend. I have a shallow clear sterilite container that they lay in. The chickens use it too.

One question about khakis... Do they go broody in their life time? My hen is always sitting on eggs and I think she wants to go broody.. If I let her will she do her job?
