I like that waterer, another useful one is to cut a circle out of a 1 gallon milk jug so they can stick there head through and drink. My litter has been much drier now and no more swimming.

Cuties! I particularly like the pics where they are huddled together. It appears that is just the current color of your little one's bean (that little bump on the end of its bill). It may change as they grow. As they reach maturity the females bills will generally be a slate gray, though one of mine has an olive colored bill (Hence the name, Olive), and the males will be greenish to yellowish. Usually the beans will be darker on both but not necessarily.
CUTE! I'm new to the game, so I can't help you, but good luck.

You should have seen me when I first read this. I said, "What in the world is a bean?" so I was googling like crazy and came up with duck beanies, plush ducks, Beanie Babies, Duck with Bean recipes. HAHA! I'm so glad you told me what it was.![]()
We have a couple females also and they are the same exact way I don't try and hold them often because it really stresses them out so I just kinda let them be im thinking maybe once they get a bit older and I can try and hold them more and get them to warm up a bit. Goodluck with yours let me know if you figure out any kind of tips.. I was thinking of maybe figuring out a nice treat for them so maybe they'll like us more with treatsI just found out last night from where we purchased our ducks that they are in fact Khaki Campbells. They are about 7 weeks old as of now but they are so timid and every time I stick my hand in to either add feed or change out their water they do everything they can to run from me. Any suggestions on how to get them to warm up to us any? The photo posted is when they were 4 weeks old.
