Hello, I think I hAve a male and female Campbell's ... Can anyone tell by this early stage of feathering ?
We do get a few frosts a year but that is usually more inland than the coasts. My girl is almost 11 months old now. Her eggs are huge and very delicious. I stick with chicken eggs for eating and the duck eggs I use for baking. Right now I am collecting all the eggs she lays and have been hatching out ducklings every week and selling them. The next several batches I am keeping for myself because I want to increase my flock.
My Khaki boy Scrappy is a month old. I say boy because Im pretty sure since he is HUGE! He got new friends today. A pair of Khaki girls that are a year old. During his first supervised visit I realized.....OMG He is Baby Huey!
I think you maybe right
I have 2 white 2yo Campbell girls who's sibling (that was lost to a fox) was a lovely khaki Campbell boy. Have got to say that I adore Campbell's and will always have Campbell's my girls are so friendly (but can be nervous with new people) and have suck wonderful characters. My kids and all their friends love playing with them.
In May i am going to be getting some and one drake. Was woundering how the drakes are to the females?
