A question about KCs.... I am finding them to be the best of egg layers of all my breeds, but, are they a broody duck? My mallards are phenomenal broody ducks and will sit on anybodys eggs, so at least I have options. But will the KC ladies sit?

Tho not the best broody say hens will sit on eggs in the early spring and have hatched 2 clutches out and are ok moms

Fair answer. I guess I'll let them try and let my mallard ladies get some of the KC eggs too!! We'll see how it goes I guess.

Do you notice your mallards produce many double yolk eggs? Or colored eggs?

i m having five ducks and i got daily one egg but for past one week i not got even one egg any1 know why

For my ducks, it's change of seasons. Less daylight colder temps.
There can be many reasons. Medical, food, molt.

Is this rain unusual for your area? Has their diet changed? Ducks are great at hiding sickness, are they acting the same (eating, drinking,pooping). The last egg you got, was it a normal egg, hard shell/soft shell?
Depending on where you live, seasonal changes matter. Less day light, colder temps....

Not common but yes they do
