William turned at the sound of Adara's wounded exclamation, letting his guard down just long enough for Sean's blade to slap his side.

Daza was in the forest, hunting a deer to bring back to the camp. He watched the forest, knowing the natural sounds well since he had grown up listening to them. He thought of his sister, Naledi. He knew she was getting old enough to be married off, but didn't want her to be. He eased himself against a tree, watching the forest and trying to think of a solution to his dilemma .

Naledi exited her and Daza's tent to check on the food cooking over the fire. She glanced around at the camp, then discreetly to the hut in the center as she stirred the pot.

Allen shot at the deer, missing it. He frowned as he watched it bound away. He was distracted today without Cara by his side he was worried for his younger sister. He sighed and went to find some new tracks to follow, trying to dismiss the worry. He knew she was able to take care of herself, after all he had trained her as well as he could.
