we come and post here a bunch, then get busy and disappear into our lives. Then, we come back and post a bunch again. It's just a friendly thread where we keep it family friendly, keep the gossip to a minimum (meaning nil) and just chat.

It was my first time visiting NC. My mom moved there from NJ about 4 years ago. I bought my own house here in CA 5 years ago, so never had the money to visit.

It had it's charm. Very green, very flat, very full of tobacco fields, very full of Walmart Supercenters.

keep in mind that posts in the random ramblings section give you a temporary boost. then, when it's time for spring cleaning, many threads here get closed and deleted, because we don't really say anything since we're rambling.

And when the thread is deleted, so are all those posts. Don't be surprised if you come back and have lost a thousand or so posts. It's pretty funny.
eta - and right now, I have to run to the hardware store, so PK will have to keep up the conversation in my absence.
