Morning people... EC grabs chair... is the kettle on???? tis now 3.39am here....
OK must answer questions......... No I have never had an unconventional job.... as I am unconventional anyway.... nor could I wrestle an alligator.... but I can wrestle a £20 note out of my husbands wallet quicker than the blink of an eye! .... does that count?
My most treasuered tools..... I have two.... my battery powered screwdriver and my battery powered tape measure..... could not be without them... opps and my trusty sharp string etc cutting knife.... so that makes three.....
Went to the Wernlas Collection with Lynsey... rather disappointed in the set=up, I thought after seeing their website that it would be more "chicken touristy" but that was not to bee..... there was dozens and dozens and dozens of arks (tractors) set out in the fields many of which where greatly n need of repair.... but the birds themselves looked healthy enough.... the fields where very roung to walk especially forthis old snail of a woman... hobble hobble!... full of holes and mole hills..... but I made it.... however I should never evr ver go near chick houses... I was smitten and came home with six Brahma babies who are in my office in a big terrerium and chirping away merriily...
I did take my camera but did not think the set up warranted pics... I know tht you would have been disappointed... so my search for rare breeds continues... all theirs at the Wernlas had been ordered for the whole season!... grrrrrr.... I must find Vorweks and Sultans.. I must I must I must....
Any typos in this post is down to Angus.... he keeps trying to catch my fingers and sit on the keyboard... he is also fascinated with the chicks!.........
