I will need to get one of those staplers someday. I put up the chicken pen without one, and hit my thumb so hard with a hammer while trying to hold a fencing staple AND the wire that I lost my nail, and had a brutally sore thumb for weeks. It's been 8 1/2 months and my thumbnail is just now almost grown back. It hurt so bad that I couldn't even swear! (Seriously!)

EC, I like the sound of the battery powered tape measure, but I like the sound of Sven or Antonio better. CityGirl, that was dead on!

CityGirl, bad on the pink eye, good on the gardening! Tomorrow, I'm hoping to mow down the field of weeds, formerly known as my lawn. I also need to find a place to plant an orange tree. I want it in the front yard so when I go to work in the winter, I can pick one as I get in the car.

Nope ... I am all Vampire Diaries at the moment and the Twilight Saga (all)..... am such a sucker for a vampire!!!

I know YOU love a good laugh. Janet Evanovich writes the series, starts with One for the Money - she is on number 15 now. And there are "in-between-the-numbers" books too, and every last one makes me laugh out loud to the point people stare.

Ooooo... I need a new book series. What are they about?

EC- your pink tools sound awesome! Mine are all man tools that I pilfered from my Dad over the years.

I"m pretty okay with either Sven or Antonio, so you pick the one you like the best and just send the other on over to me.

What I really want are tools designed to fit a woman's shape and size. I have the hardest time with yard tools. The weedeater and tiller make me crazy because my arms aren't long enough to pull the cord when it is in the upright and locked position. I want tools that are designed to fit me!

OrpManor- That thumb hit sounds horrible. Ow Ow OWWWWWW!!!!
I am jealous that you can cut the grass AND plant an orange tree. It's in the 40s here right now and all rainy.

Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter in the burbs of New Jersey with a side kick named Lula that is a former lady of the evening who wears too tight spandex and has a thing for fried chicken and donuts, and weights about 200 lbs. Then there is Ranger and Joe and she can't chose. Grandma Mazur shoots chickens off the dinner table and visits funeral homes for gossip. Carl is a monkey.... Bob is a dog that eats everything including thongs panties he later horks up on a neighbors lawn..... I can go on and on and on.....

My chainsaw and lawnmower are the latest "easy start" system, because of the too-short to yank the cord far-enough problem. THAT and my DH is a leftie who has the opposite problem, he yanks the cords all the way OUT of small engines coz he is pulling crossways.

Pay a little more for the easy start option if you can, it's definitely worth it!!!
