Another recurring dream I have involves finding hidden rooms in my home that I'd forgotten about and haven't used. The worst was discovering a finished attic with a balcony that overlooks the ocean. How could I not remember I had that??!!

Oddly, they kind of stopped once we converted our guest bedroom to my office. I suppose the room was barely used for 7 years. Now I'm in it every day.

I've also found that the clearer the details and the longer the memory stays intact, the closer the attention I need to pay to the dream. It's almost guaranteed that my psyche is trying to tell me something important!
I believe that too. Dream that has clear with details is saying something.

Does having dreams about smartphones several days in a row count as recurring?
Absolutely! Is this the "fat fingers dream" (as my husband calls it), where you're trying to do something on your phone, but your fingers are too fat and hit all the wrong buttons?

Kinda but not really.

One of them was a dream that I had a really cool photo lined up that made the edge of a house look bigger than the mountains behind it. I was standing on the edge of the mountain the house protruded from, and was trying to get the photo, but the camera app kept changing the setting on me (the little sliding thingy where you can use different modes) and I couldn't get the picture (which has happened to me way too many times).

Then I had one about waiting for a phone in the mail and when it came it was more broken than what the seller said it was.

I've had quite a few more but I don't remember all of them.

I had the teeth breaking/falling out dream again, but it was pretty funny in hindsight.

First, I'm in my dream thinking, This is one of those recurring dreams, but it's really happening this time!

I also should have been tipped off that it was a dream because I was being babysat by my childhood best friend's mother... while still in my 40's. 😒

Dream me is not the brightest bulb.

I always had work dreams, mostly about customers reaching over the glass or making me mad in other ways…
Now I’m a stay-at-home mom and the restaurant dreams are gone but now a lot of my dreams take place around the house I grew up in.
