MY CHICKIES CAME IN TODAY!!!!! I officially have 17 fuzzy butts in my kitchen and my welsummers will come in tomorrow. I didn't get my Salmon Favs though, that is really sad, because I was especially looking forward to them. But yeah!!! I will post pics in a little bit. I am just deliriously happy to have babies again!!!!

ETA: I am 50% Irish. My birth mother was 100% Irish, my father was 100% Norwegian. My birth mother was 5ft2 blond hair and blue eyes.. ummm.. guess I take after my dad, the dark Nord.... I am 5ft8, dark skinned, brown eyes and (used to have) dark hair.. now it's just gray LOL....

I'm back, y'all. Yesterday started at 1:30am as I awoke to kidney stone pain. I toughed it out for an hour and a half before I called my mother. She called the ambulance and I made two new best friends. Did you know that they can start an IV and start pain meds in your driveway? I love those men. Many, many hits of dulatid (sp?) and lots of other things I missed because of the dulatid and I am much better. The stone finally passed and I am clearing away the cobwebs from my brain. Life is better.

Jeaucamom- congrats on the new babies! It's so exciting to have little ones. I have 8 barred rocks in the brooder and 7 EEs pipped in the bator. One of the ameraucanas has pipped too. Hopefully by bedtime someone will be out! I want to see what we look like. It's my first round of EEs from thess roos. All 9 of the EE eggs were fertile and developing so clearly they are doing their jobs out there!
