He leaned up against the car and gave her a small smile. "I know its not what you want to here, but there is still hope since it doesn't look like AMS. We will tell Max everything we saw and maybe he can piece it together. He knows more about who might want to take a mage then I do." He said reassuringly, hoping she would still be able to find her friend. Or in the very least have some closure.

"But we know someone took her, she didn't just get scared and leave." Ara said, somehow that made her feel better, though she was still sad and angry about Jade being missing at all. She looked back to the doors then to Maddox again "Want to eat our cookies while we wait?"

"Yes, of course I want to eat the cookies!" He said as he pulled the packaging open and handed her the package after he took one.

Ara chuckled and picked out a cookie then set the package on the car so either could take from it as they waited.

Ara smiled and nodded "Those look really good." She agreed then chuckled softly "Shall we go look at the plants now?"

Jade thought about that for a moment before nodding "I can" She said simply then shrugged "There is much I do not understand, but I can forgive you for helping in my capture."
