"It was cold and scary, but it didn't really hurt." Jade said with a frown. "Finding food in winter has the same cold."

Luka held her close, in an attempt to keep her warm. He whispered “Let’s forget that.”

"Bleh, whatever sure, no hard feelings" Castor grumbles his reply as he climbs out of the pool and goes back to just sitting on the ledge with his legs resting in the water. Pollux sighs and nods with a shrug which was followed by Castor replying for him "He says pretty much which I say is a lie, I believe I'm even more dramatic then ever and I take offense that he lowered my drama skills down to 'Pretty much' and I refuse to believe I'm a poor sport, I prefer maybe mediocre sport or just not the best sport!" Castor rants on while Pollux opens and closes his hand in a mocking way of what Castor says.

Ronni glares down at Elena as she crossed her arms "Well sorry to bother your plants but even if I wasn't upset they would probably still be getting a bit frosty" she says bitterly as she picked up a freshly fixed grass blade, she examined it for a moment "That's a pretty neat trick, I guess I'm a bit glad you were around to fix up these plants cause I'd probably feel a bit guilty later if I just killed them all off and ended up messing up the balance of forest life or whatever" she adds with a sigh as she dropped the now frozen over grass blade to the ground.

Lyla laughed a bit at the two of them, they were like watching a live show. How had she never really met these guys before? "So have you two always lived here? Or did you come here after getting your powers from someone else?" She asked, curious if they were born this way. She was a little envious of those that were born into it, they often had better and easier control of their powers. They didn't have to struggle to master it like she had.

Elena frowned a bit, was she mocking her or being truthful, she couldn't tell. "There is a balance to everything not just the forest. Its the hardest thing in life, finding the right balance. Did you come out here to be alone? I can leave if you did, I come out here for the quiet myself, the house can be so chaotic sometimes." She added with a smile hoping to draw Ronni out of her shell a bit.

Maximilian thought out loud “Well someone is the best mage of all time.” He smiled, then headed there with her, knocking on the door but letting her do the talking.

Ara smiled at him then looked to the door at the knock. She tilted her head a little then got up to open it "Hello." She was a little worried the room wasn't 'open' for her to take since she had just got it.

Arisala laughed a little at his comment, she wasn't into boasting but she would happily take the compliment. They waited outside the door until it opened not wanting to barge in. When the door opened Arisala smiled at Ara, "Mind if we come in for a minute?" She asked her kindly.

Maddox stood up and looked at them, "We can leave, I just thought the room was free to be used given it seemed empty." He said as an apology.

"Oh no need, this can be your room Ara, it was indeed empty, and you can stay as well maddox we just wanted to ask Ara a question." She said with a wave of her hand to let him know it was no big deal.

Maximilian nodded, resting against the wall. Arisala was much better at talking than he was.

Ara nodded and moved back so they could come in the room with them. "What is your question? I'll answer it if I can."

Arisala walked into the room and sat down on one of the beds and gestured for Ara to sit down across from her. "I know we didn't find what you had hopped when we went to look for your friend Jade. For that I am sorry, but I want you to know you are welcome here for however long you wish to stay. Now I don't want to get your hopes up but there might be a way figure out if she is alive and where she might be. We can perform a locator spell if you have something that belonged to her." She said waiting to let that sink in, she didn't want her to get too excited just in case it didn't go as planned but she wanted to try.

Maddox looked at Ara with a smile. "I told you they would come up with something!" He said excitedly.

Simon nodded, inwardly screaming. His brain screamed at his heart, knowing full well he shouldn’t try... “Star, thank you for being my friend...and also, by the way...I’ve...had a crush on you for a while.” He looked at the house around them, trying to stall time for her to process that. He added even more quietly ”Don’t know why, but I guess I want you to know that.”

Star processed this slowly "Oh okay..." she responded a bit nervously but mostly flustered, she hadn't been in this type of situation before at least not that she could remember. She wasn't completely sure what to do so she started to kinda wing it as she nervously fiddled with her fingers "I guess I kinda have a crush on you too...I didn't want to say anything because you're super cool and super nice to me and I didn't want to weird you out which I'm probably doing with my horrible fumbling right now and I'll just stop" she finishes by covering her reddened face with her hands in embarrassment

Castor of course answered for both of them "We came here at a pretty young age, our mother just kind of dropped us here when she found out we were mages, couldn't take care of us or didn't want to deal with us or whatever because Pollux over there was heavily destructive and I think I killed her cat, honestly don't fully remember or fully care so yeah" he states pretty casually despite the situation he was describing.

Ronni shifts a bit, she took a moment to think about what to say, socializing was definitely not her strong point "I don't like being cooped up in my room 24/7 but honestly my room is the safest place for me but sometimes I just need to sneak out to get food or fresh air. My ninja stealth skills failed me today and I got into a pretty heated argument with some mage who I may have accidentally froze up half their leg. Some choice words were thrown around and I got upset and pushed them to the ground and ran out then like the smart person I am, I got horribly lost in the woods and probably messed up your day by freezing over a bunch of said woods. Ain't I just the human description of a huge terrible mess" she explains with a bitter miserable groan, she's had a long day already.

(Honestly same, she's probably doing a bit of mocking in there because she's heavily passive-aggressive most the time...pretty sure even she doesn't know if she's mocking or being truthful though, gosh I love her)
