Lilith said softly "It was my past." She paused before adding " I saw my friend die to the AMS, and then my former love broke my heart. I lost the two people I loved most. One of them didn't even love me back."

"Oh" Danny whispered as he sat up straight at the serious subject "That really stinks, no one deserves to go through something like that, I'm so sorry" he replies softly, he felt deep sadness for Lilith and her story

Castor had his arm slung over his brother's shoulders as they walk down a hallway, he was busy talking loudly with his brother.

Pollux stayed silent, he let his brother continue jabbering on even though he never answered him even though he really didn't have to, Castor seemed to know actually how he felt and how he would answer so he had no reason to speak

Lyla was wandering the halls aimlessly as she often did. She had few friends here, although she always tried to make them her friends. She had few interactions with the other mages here as well. Lincoln kept her busy and her early years here, well they had been rough. She heard a males voice down one hall and decided to go see who it was. As she rounded the corner she noticed Castor talking to his brother Pollux, she had seen the brothers many times but had never been brave enough to say hello. But she was desperate for some mage friends and so she gathered her courage and walked up to them.

"Hey guys, doing anything fun?" Lyla asked excitedly with a friendly smile. She had no idea what to expect but she decided to just go in head first and hope for the best.

Lilith nodded as she started to tear up. She couldn't cry, not in front of a person she barely knew. She made it darker around her, so it would be harder for him to see. She managed to say quietly "Thanks. I'm sorry."

Castor immediately stopped his conversation with Pollux and eyed up the girl in front of him with his blazing gaze. He wasn't really interested in talking to the girl.

Pollux looked up at the sudden voice, he recognized her to be Lyla who was a fellow mage. He and his brother had never really talked to her but Pollux shot Castor a glance that he would only understand.

Castor grumbled in annoyance "My brother wants me to say hello back to you for him and to tell you we are just walking around aimlessly like idiots" he said the last part and shot his brother a fake offended look at the idiots part

"Hey don't be sorry, now I feel bad for bringing it up" Danny replies guiltily, he did however notice it get darker and he quickly pierced together that she was a darkness mage "That's a neat little trick you can do, all I can do is move some pebbles and fix some flowers" he says with a shrug, he was totally dumbing down what he could actually do but he just hoped he could change the subject to cheer her up a bit.

"Hey that causes messes someone has to clean up, do you know how many times I'd had to sweep up because I caused a few small dirt fountains" Danny replies making his voice sound more dramatic then it had to be, he then tilts his head as he adds a bit more seriously "What you can do sounds much cleaner and not to mention cooler, I'd love to be able to just disappear whenever I want."

Danny shrugs and replies playfully "Alright but how about we agree that you're at least a little bit more interesting then me" he then raises his hands in a fake defensive matter "Oh no, how truly terrible of you to even think of cursing me" he voice dripped with dramatic fake horror
