Star thought carefully about her answer to Simon's question for a long minute "It's nice I guess, I love being helpful in my own way. I love that I can heal things that need it but being a mage isn't the most safest or easiest thing to be from what I know and heard" Star answered carefully after her moment of thought

Simon replied "I'm assuming Death Mages aren't your favorites?" with a small grin on his face. He looked around them, the green was clearing up and the city was more in view, along with the ice cream shop.

Maddox gave a shocked offended look at the comment towards him not being a good, but soon dissolved into laughed at his own ridiculousness. He sobered a touch and shook his head at Nico. "I don't mind you, not one bit, so there is that. I imagine the others stay away from me due to my history before arriving here, and if they don't know what happened then its probably for the best. Ah well you got a friend in me, if you ever need it. Or if you ever need something set on fire, I am REALLY good at that." He said trying to lighten the mood back up after his depressing comment.

Nico shifted uncomfortably once he realized his comment may had been a little too much. "Thanks. Maddox." He said, and gave Maddox an awkward pat on the shoulder, though he had mixed feelings about having a friend. "You're not so bad yourself." Nico said with a shrug, avoiding eye contact because giving compliments is not easy for him.

Simon smiled as she saw the city, he took her hand just for a second then released as she was heading the wrong way. He led her to the ice cream place, smiling, before replying "Guess that's true. Now you don't worry about them and worry about how much ice cream you want."

Star beams up at Simon as they make their way to the ice cream place "I guess that's the only important thing right now" she says playfully, but she was a bit nervous about all the people around them suddenly so she moved closer to him, close enough that their arms would be brushing

Simon noticed her nervousness, reassuring with a whisper "Its ok." He held out his hand loosely so she could hold on to it she wanted to. He waited for her to settle in before continuing.

Maximilian nodded. He looked at her as she tousled his hair, chuckling as she did so. He noted "Too many people to take care of." He added telepathically "Most importantly, you. He took her hands and laughed, saying "You must've been worrying about me for a while, huh?"

Arisala laughed with him, smilingly happily that he was using their bonded connection to speak in their minds. "Yes I worried about you for some time. Well I worry about everybody but I did some extra worrying about you. It will be much nicer now though, having this all be out in the open and real." She said as she squeezed his hands before standing up. "Now you go get in the shower, get clean and fresh. We need to figure out groceries and supply runs and god knows what else has come up or burned down in absences." She said with an exasperated smile.
