He said, and gave Maddox an awkward pat on the shoulder, though he had mixed feelings about having a friend. "You're not so bad yourself." Nico said with a shrug, avoiding eye contact because giving compliments is not easy for him.

Maddox smiled and gave a wry chuckle at Nico's uncomfortable praise. "Thanks for the ringing endorsement. But seriously thanks man, I needed that. What you doing for lunch, anything special?" He then asked to change the subject as it was obvious both were now a bit uncomfortable.

Simon commented quietly to her "If you want, we can order the Ice cream then head back to the forest and eat it there in peace." He didn't understand why but he was growing a bit protective of her. She seemed so perfectly happy, innocent. He never wanted that to change.

Well I worry about everybody but I did some extra worrying about you. It will be much nicer now though, having this all be out in the open and real." She said as she squeezed his hands before standing up. "Now you go get in the shower, get clean and fresh. We need to figure out groceries and supply runs and god knows what else has come up or burned down in absences." She said with an exasperated smile.

Arisala gave a snort and then laughed, she couldn't even manage to get a decent meditation in anymore with how many young mages they had underfoot. She was especially cautious right now given how many of them were still young teenagers, some still learning everything about their powers. "A nice hot and calming bath would be nice, but that would require i stop long enough to make it happen, and lets face it that will probably not happen. But I appreciate you wanting to do something for me." She said with a tired smile, it was a long time since she had someone to worry about her for once.
