Zephyrine shot the rock forward, it slowed down then sped up again and hit the fence, but this time not hard enough to damage it. She sighed and levitated the rock back to her, then tried again with a slightly better outcome.
"Sorry, Arisala. I won't do it again." Eira said, lifted the water back up off Victoria then turned around and walked back to their room with the bubble following her. She placed it back in the cup and sat on her bed.
Nico could feel Maddox's deep sadness and regret, and he didn't need any special power to feel it. He became panicked as he saw the small flames, "H-hey. It's fine. It's okay, not everyone can control there powers. I couldn't at one point." He said, regretting ever saying anything. He waited to see what happened next, knowing how crazy fire powers can be, and was prepared to douse him with water if needed (Though Arisala probably wouldn't be happy about it. XD).

Lilith walked downstairs to get a glass of water when she noticed Maddox. She eyed Nico a bit nervously, then came over to Maddox and said "Calm down. It's fine." even though she had no idea what it was about. "You can kiss me again if you like." she offered to calm him down, not caring what Nico thought.
(Oh I think she would be ok with it as long as he didn't burn the house down.
Maddox wasn't there anymore, just his grief and in that moment his powers flared wildly out of control much like they had for sometime before he came to the house. Flames jumped higher where they had started on his legs and arms. as tears slide down his face he squeezed his eyes shut and the heat intensified.
(If anyone has a water character that isn't busy they can have them come in now and put him out if they want.
On a side note wonder if Nico will still want to be his friend after seeing his slightly darker PTSD side. )
Nico panicked more, unsure what to do and it was no help that he never had experience calming a person,and a fire mage was 10 times worse. Rather than calming him, Nico placed his hand on Maddox's shoulder, using his powers to inflict pain on Maddox as an attempt to snap him out of his grief, though it didn't last long until his hands began to burn. He quickly pulled his hand away after a few seconds and saw it didn't help whatsoever. "Lilith! Your water!" He yelled.
Lilith hissed "Dont hurt him you idiot!" She pushed Nico out of the way, taking his place. She grabbed her water and slowly poured it over Maddox, regretting it as she did. The flames were doused quiet quickly. She asked quietly "Maddox are you there?"
"He'll be fine." He hissed back, but then felt bad after saying it. Lilith pushed he away and Nico sat down at the other end of the couch, flipping his hood over his head. Sitting in silence as a mixture of feelings -regret, discomfort, saddness for his newfound friend- passed over him.
Lilith' eyes filled with hatred. She grabbed his wrist, and hissed back "You don't underestimate people's pasts. Ever." Lilith teared up, wiping them away in anger, before soothing Maddox replying "It'll be ok. I'm here."
He wrinkled his nose as she spoke to him with pure anger. "You all don't know my past." He snapped. He stood and walked upstairs to his room, not saying another word.
