Personality: He is very loyal and is very secretive except to Eva. He has many friends because he is likeable and friendly.
Appearance: A bit husky at 5'8 with blond hair with red and brown streaks. He has blue eyes and is very handsome.
History: He and Eva have grown up with each other their whole life and are the best of friends. They're not interested in anything romantic although they do get teased. He is the only person beside Eva who knows that she is a mage and will give his life to keep her dark secret. He loves sports and often plays football with his high school friends. Both of their parents we very close before the two were born and when his and Eva's parents died they became almost brother and sister. They live alone in an apartment and he has a job at a grocery store.

History: She just recently found out about her powers and have kept them a secret. Her friend Josiah has been very encouraging about it all and has told her to love her powers instead of hate them. Like Josiah her parents died when she was quite young and they have taken care of one another ever since. Since she has found to love her powers she has been able to control them a lot more easily. When she first found out she has almost killed Josiah many times but he still has stayed loyal by her side.

Simon smiled, placing one of his hands on her, grasping it a bit. He smiled, then replied "Alright need to go, see you later." and jogged off into the forest back to his home in downtown.

Luka looked at her with a pang of regret. He didn't understand why he usually didn't seem to care but she had barely struggled. She had just tried to grow some plants to protect herself. She seemed innocent and scared, unlike his other adversaries. He whispered softly "I'm sorry." As she fell asleep in his hold, he ordered the men to open the back door of the grocery store so he could hold her himself. He didn't trust her with them.

One of them, John Maxley, laughed, remarking "He does have a soft side."

The other henchmen chuckled but did as Luka said, opening the doors for him to exit.

Luka carried her out and into the large van which doors were open. He laid her softly down on her back on the van floor, as he decided to sit against a wall as the men closed the doors and drove off.

Jade slept peacefully under the influence of the drug. It would be a while before she would start to wake up again.

Ara would start to panic after she had finished gathering the groceries and gone to the plant section to try to find Jade. There was only the large and cut plants there and that made Ara fear for her friend, leaving the store to look for her.

Josiah pushed his sweat-filled hair over his head and sighed. It had been a long day at work and he couldn't wait to get to Eva. He hoped that she was okay with her powers and everything. He suddenly felt a push from behind and then he realized he was on the ground. He quickly stood up so he wouldn't get stepped on and continued walking towards his apartment. Today was payday so he and Eva would go out to a restaurant to get something to eat.



Eva had a quick shower and then she did her hair in a bun and put a bit of makeup on. She slipped on a black tee-shirt dress and put on the compass necklace she pretty much always wore. Then she slid on some gladiator sandals and she was ready to go. She sat on the bed as she waited for Josiah.


Josiah pushed open the door to the kitchen and checked to make sure Eva was okay. He also had a super quick shower and pulled on some jeans and a tee-shirt. "Hey!" he called to Eva as he walked into her room. Eva gave him a quick hug. "Ready?" asked. "Ready." Josiah replied. They walked towards the elevator and chatted as they went down. They decided they would go to a smokehouse. After they were done they went back and went to their separate rooms for bed.

Maximilian smiled back, replying "You did. I didn't do anything. I'm just here behind the scenes. You're the one who really keeps things together here, and I have to thank you for that."

Arisala just smiled and shrugged, although on the inside she was touched by the compliment. "Thank you." She said simply as they headed down the stairs, she filled him in on what she had intervened on. She then ran him through the things that needed doing for the day, like shopping. When they got downstairs she noticed that Maddox was standing by the couch and when she saw the scorched part she just sighed before turning to Maximilian. "Looks like we need a new couch too."

Maddox spun around when he heard them come into the room. His face paled a bit with her sigh and he felt terrible that he had ruined the couch. "I am so sorry guys, I didn't mean to flare out like that." he apologized while looking at the ground, too afraid to meet their eyes.

Elena calmed herself down and since she could find no peace at the house decided to leave. She left the back yard and headed for a quiet wooded spot not to far away and sat down. She would come back before it would be to late, but for now she just enjoyed the outdoors.
