Lyla knew he was a bit hostile normally but this was unusual even by his standards. She didn't flinch or show any fear, she just listened to what he had to say. "Yes well it would have gone much better had he sent me to go talk to her instead of you to kidnap her, but that is besides the point. And if you have a problem you could try speaking up about it. If all you do is mutter things angrily under you breath no one knows you have a problem. maybe you should just try talking to Lincoln about your issues. And since you obviously got something up your but maybe it would do you some good to do something nice for a change, here bring this food to Jade." She set down the tray of food with a sigh, no respect my butt she thought. They wouldn't send him out to do the work if they didn't respect him at least a little bit.

Luka's mood lit up at her words. Perfect, he wanted to talk to Jade. He asked with the same scorn "What room is she in, Ms. Bubbly?" He looked down the hall, curious to hear the answer.

Tamara was glad that it was dark so Elliot couldn't see her blushing. "I love you so much.... you know that right?" she quietly asked him.



Sabrina glared even harder as she replied, "Well if you won't, then I will." she said. "Why am I even here? You're all a bunch of softies." She turned around and started for the door.

Elliot responded with a soft "Yes I know Tamara. And I love you more than anything else that exists." He held her close, resting his head on hers, before asking "What would you like to do now?"

Danny studied Lilith for a moment "I see, well your luck isn't the greatest if you came out at the same time as Ronni" he joked in hopes of showing her he wasn't really someone to worry or be uneasy around

Lilith replied "She didn't do anything to me. It's just...I don't know I guess I should've stayed in my room." She paused, before adding "I don't know why I came down here now."

Well we have a free day so maybe we could take a walk or something?" she asked hopefully. "There is a slight risk but I'm willing to take it."

(This isn't Lincoln first rodeo, he is not going to let her steal files. Trust me if she even tried it would end very badly. If she wants to go rogue she has got to do it on her own. )

Lincoln pressed a button under his desk which locked the door so she couldn't leave. He folded his hands together calmly on the desk and watched her. "Just because we see the bigger picture here does not make us "softies". That is a simple narrow minded view from someone who is afraid. I called you in here because I think you have potential, but first I needed to know if you were a loose canon or not. I don't need loose canons, I need driven, dedicated and smart people who can follow orders." He got up and leaned on one side of the desk so he could better react and gauge her reactions.

"Your resourceful I am sure you can figure it out on your own." Lyla said with a wave of her hand over her shoulder as she left. Maybe that ignorant and innocent girl could thaw his ridiculously cold and angry heart.
