**The Last Spark** A Magic RP

Luka looked to her, unsure of what to do. He said slowly "Are you tired? I could sleep in the beanbag and you could on the bed. Or if not I could sleep on the bed."
Jade shrugged a little then shook her head. "Not really." She went to sit on the beanbag, then smiled at him "You can sleep if you want"

Lincoln arranged his files and information on the shop where Jade hade been taken. When Timothy arrived and knocked on the door he got up and went to the door. He pulled it open and gestured for him to come in and sit down. He then moved around the desk and sat down opening the file he had on Jade and her friend Arabella. "We recently brought in an earth mage by the name of Jade but her friend Arabella is still out there. We were not able to bring her in and I would very much like to try again. We will need to be cautious as she will probably be very nervous since we brought in her friend. I want you to go back to the store where they were found and stake it out. Run surveillance for the next 48 hours. Check in and report every 10 hours, and if you see her do not act, report back for orders. Here is all we have on the two girls and the information on the store where they were last seen. Any questions?" Lincoln stated simply as he slid the folder with the pertinent information across the desk to Timothy. He wasn't fond of the man but he was capable and required little direction.

Timothy nodded at Lincoln's directions, taking the folder and setting it down in front of himself back on the desk. He would read everything in it later.

"You know me, 'nd you know I don't ask many questions, so no." Timothy replied bluntly, "I believe I know everything I need to, so is that all you have to say so I can move on and get this job over with?"

Timothy leaned back in his chair and patiently waited for a response, eyeing the folder with just some slight curiosity.

Iris nodded, especially to the last part. She responded "What I did was probably a bit stupid. But some is done I guess." She smiled and said "My name is Iris, and if you want you can come with to my house over here. I'm making oatmeal if that's something you like."

Ester chuckled as she had realized Iris had obviously lied about where she lived, but didn't mention it. It was always smart to be subtly cautious around here.
"You know what? I'm not covered in mud and duck feathers yet, so I'll take you up on that offer." Ester stated in a friendly manner.
"Iris is a pretty unique name, by the way. Haven't heard that one before."

Lincoln eyed him a bit before nodding. "That is all, make sure you report in at regular intervals. And don't lose it in the field, I know you are still over medicating." He said sternly as he stood and walked to the door. He held it open for Timothy so he could give him a stern look as he walked out.

Timothy shrugged at Lincoln's accusation, which was very much the truth.
"That nurse doesn't know what's good for me." He stated stubbornly, standing from his chair and taking the folder.
He looked Lincoln dead in the eyes as he was given a stern look, not fazed by what he knew or didn't know Lincoln thought about him. And without his glasses Lincoln's face looked mostly blurry, so he couldn't completely decipher his expression anyway.

Lincoln stood there at the door in a bit of a stand off. He eventually gestured for Timothy to leave, he had no time or desire for pissing matches. And he doubted that is what Timothy was trying to do anyways. "That is of little importance to me as long as you do your job. I expect results, you give me that and you can take however many and whatever drugs you like. Go to the garage to get a car, report in on time." He stated simply then shut the door, not caring if Timothy had anymore to say.
