Arisala moaned in her sleep, before sitting upright with a cry dying on her lips, a cold sweat broken out on her skin. She saw Maximilian and threw herself into his arms and sobbed. "The house was burning, they burned it all down, with everyone inside." She said between sobs. She didn't have nightmares often but when she did they usually were about mages dying on her watch without her being able to do anything.

Maximilian was startled, soon regaining his composure. He stroked her hair softly, soothing her with a hug. He whispered “Ari, that will never happen. It was just a bad dream. Don’t believe it at all, Ari, we’re all here.” He leant down to kiss her, then scooped her up in his strong arms, cradling the woman he cared for so much ever so softly.
