99.5-99.7 F (depending on who you talk to) would be considered ideal for a forced air incubator. Remember that thermometers, even ones included with incubators, can easily be off by several degrees. Always calibrate your thermometer!

The legbar eggs I incubated with a bunch of Basque eggs hatched out a day later than the Basques( which were right on time)

I ended up taking this one out of the incubator and it hadn't developed fully.

Back to the drawing board. I seem to be able to hatch other eggs, with 100% hatches. CL's, not so much.

I tried to get to the membership form and it would not open, just got a page that said it was the enrollment form but nothing else until the "Pay Now" button for Paypal. Maybe it's a Firefox glitch?

I don't have any CL yet, had one failed hatch and another in progress I'll know results of in 2 weeks, but this shipment of eggs was delayed by the PO - shipped on a Wednesday, arrived not until the following Monday, so low hope. Some are under Silkie broodies, so if anything is going to hatch I'm betting it will be those. Fingers crossed.

So sorry that you had a problem with joining the CL Club. The Club really needs people who want to improve the breed, and to work to get acceptance by the APA. I don't have firefox, but it seems that shouldn't be a problem. I'll go check out the enrollment form now. Thanks for alerting us to the potential of having a problem.

I agree, we are nearly "neighbors" since distance is pretty meaningless in Texas.
