I tried that... but my first pet was a betta fish, and I had a bunch of fish, then my mom got me a hamster after being begged for one when I was... eight? I had two hamsters (Maybe three) and a few years later, I got my first budgies. So I can't exactly use that excuse to get chickens. My dad was talking about how my chicks were going to die and stuff because I've never had them before, and I tried to get him to get chickens for practice having chickens and it... didn't work.
