Here are today's pix.
This nubby the arrow is pointing at is muscle tissue regenerating or whatever you call it.

she is doing great. she still doesn't have the skin on her back grown back yet, but she eats and eats and poops and poops! she's in good spirits, chatty and feeling like she can jump out and walk around. i don't let her (poopfoot on carpet? no thanks) because i think she should spend her energy healing, not running around getting into stuff in the house. I'll post another pic this weekend as it will be 4 weeks since the attack.

This pic was taken yesterday. Approx four weeks after her attack. She's still feisty, eating, talking and living in her box in the cage.
When she gets skin over her back, she'll get the full use of the cage, sans box.
No infection so far. I think we're out of the woods as far as that goes.

I noticed the skin this weekend, and it was just at her tail, about half that size? Maybe Thursday was when I noticed.
Also, she's had full use of the cage since late last week because she had jumped out, and rather than deal with that, I chucked the box.

@khemo
I’ve read your thread with interest. You should be very proud of your care and attention. The wound looks so much cleaner and I do hope she gets better.
:)
