the living room is tore up!!

We never have a tree, but our friend who is staying here cut one for us out in the forest over the weekend! It's sitting on the front porch since we don't have a tree holder. It's small, thank goodness... and smells really nice.

I am half way done with setting up... all the mess has moved to the screened in porch

all lit up

but then we have lights to put up.. last year after christmas I bought some LED lights..

he he he....I rearranged...but the tree went in the same spot it has for the last 2 years! We lived in another house the 1st year we were here....the parsonage wasn't ready...
isn't it grand? I can't decide if I'm being sarcastic...I really needed to clean under my couch...but whew! the work of all the loading, unloading...

I have no problem finding a spot for the tree. I just move my antique steamer truck and put the tree in the corner. No problem setting it up and decorating it either. It's geting the tree out of the attic, LOL. Will have to enlist some help this year cause I almost killed myself last year.

I have to move the rabbits around.
Thankfully that is about it. Dean's cage moves to the other side of the TV. Pocket's cage can go on top of Molly's cage. That frees up the tree corner, ie the corner with 2 windows that already has a mark on the ceiling from a previous years tree that was about 6 inches too tall.
