Jay sat down wretchedly, and preened her feathers anxiously, which she did so forcefully that she pulled them out in the process. In front of her, Raven paced. She could tell he was anxious. "I should have told him." Jay whispered.

Finch awoke. Bright sunshine filtered down through his bush. Leaves crunched around him as he stood and walked out of his makeshift nest. He was in a marsh, the mud squelched between his toes.

Connor found another big one and scarfed it down. He was so glad that Flower was feeling better.

Beatrice was running past the blueberry patch from a distance since she had a worm. She stopped right across from it and swallowed the worm. She looked at the blueberry patch. She smiled contentedly since she saw a bunch of the young chickens eating blueberries.
