My Momma guinea isnt' on her keets tonight. they will be 2 weeks old Sat., it is suppose to be 68 tonight, they are in the back room of the barn in buried down in hay. do you guys think they will be okay? Any advice is appreciated!

Out of the wind, huddled together - I think that they will be OK. They have to be tough because in my experience guinea hens have been lousy, inattentive mothers.

It would be so much better if they were in a brooder with a heat lamp. Keets just don't have the internal temp controls to be able to monitor a consistent temp. They are far too young to be on their own at this point.

they will be fine

Whew!!!! they made it! It actually got down to 60 last night. They were out inside the larger pen with their momma this morning running around. Wow..you guys werent kidding when you said female guineas are lousy mothers. The Momma chicken hen next door had her babies under her and in bed an hour before dark. The momma guinea left her babies to fend for themselves! Wow!
