I've thought about rabbits but still on the fence. We're getting our chicks in 2 weeks which is exciting and looking to add more in May, turkeys and geese then. Also want a calf, 2 goats or 2 sheep and of course a piglet.

I have sheep. I should have lambs in March.

Really! Oh boy! What breed? We are wanting hair sheep because sheering isn't on my list of activities I'm looking to do. We just found a nice farm to get some goats from near Murfreesboro.

Is anyone interested in a Phoenix roo I got him with the intention of breeding but now I am just gonna stick with my seabirghts. I feel bad keeping him by him self my other Roos pick on him bad. I don't want anything for him just a good home.

Nah I have wool/milk sheep. I spin. If you like rare breeds look for the Barbados Blackbellied. They look very goatish and shed their wool in the spring for a summer hair coat. If you are going for meat production go with the Dorpers. There are several breeders here. Put a wanted ad on Craig's List for them and you should get several contacts.

Well my sale fell thru so I have a pair of Salmon Faverolles that will start to lay as the weather warms up

And a trio of Black Crested White Polish, Roo is 1 year old Hens are from a mid summer hatch they are just starting to lay.

I will be putting them on CL next week if no one here wants them. Thanks

Thank you!! It was a pleasure to meet you and your husband too!! Love these nesting boxes!! They will be put into use tomorrow after we clean the coops and I will be posting some pics on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/LotsACluckinFarm so keep an eye out for that!
