Hope everyone stays safe from the weather tonight!

I just got hatching eggs in from CA today, sent Tue so very fresh
Bator is hot , but I'm holding them until this storm line passes before I set, just in case of electrical outage...
Eggs are from PapaBrooder here on BYC, arrived in good shape, great assortment of colors & breeds including a couple really dark choc. BCM I'd be so excited to hatch, as well as some amazing dark olive eggs from a project he has going, and a half dozen sky blue CL who I would be very excited to expand my CL pen so fingers crossed on the shipped eggs once again!

that's exciting, getting eggs to set!! Can't wait to have some of my own...do you let them sit for a day after arrival to "rest" them before you set them? I got a shipment of eggs from CA a few years ago, still have an olive egger roo from that bunch, and a BCM roo...


this is the olive egger roo. I don't think that we will get too much stormage tonight, seems like the weather forecasters hype these things up WAY more than the results justify....LOL

The weather already moved thru here. Assorted tornado warnings and lots of wind. But it moved fast. Wow that rooster is beautiful!!

Awh hope not I went to pull my Great Pyrenees in before the rain started but I couldn't find him hope he's hunkered down out there he doesn't like loud noises gunshots thunder.

Powers out here, been out since 5 minutes after the storm started. No damage just no power. Winds still howling & raining pretty good.
