Everyone wants me to deliver chickens.....

Just charge a premium and contract it out....I'm sure there are plenty of teenage drivers over there in AC that would love some extra gas money.

Or better yet, you could be like the Jerkey Shack, just with chickens. LOL

No teenage drivers..... I don't need to give them a reason to drive and talk on the phone or something....

Maybe I need to charge a $50 deliver charge...... then I could hire someone to drive the chickens all over town. How would I feed chickens if I delivered all the chickens I sell?????

I like the $1 a mile thing. But that would include from your yours to the farm to their house and BACK LOL.

I live in the Cumberland City area. I'm looking for some Narragansett Turkeys, poults or hatching eggs that I could pick up without driving too far. I'd also like to find some Barred Rocks, Welsummers, or RIR hens locally. I keep an eye on CL, but not having any luck so far.

I ordered 50 silver sebrights and they ship tomorrow, I am a little nervous with the temps going down so much the next few days. I called ideal yesterday and the women told me they should be fine. Should I use the sugar water when they get here or just regular water.

If you want to sell some of those down the road let me know. My neighbor wants some Silver Sebrights...... don't think she cares about the quality really. I hatcher her 3-4 last year but I think she lost them all over a period of time.

I ordered so many cause I got a good deal and people always want some so that sounds like a plan.
